Industrial Auctions- The online auctioneer to buy or sell your food and beverage machines

If you are looking for second-hand machines for the food industry, Industrial Auctions is the company that can help you. Industrial auctions is an international operating online auctioneer specialized in auctioning machinery, inventory, and goods business-to-business. The company was officially established in 2010, when it’s current CEO, Mr. Ad van Kollenburg opened their doors to the online auctions. Over the years the company organized hundreds of auctions and gained in depth knowledge about the food and beverage industry. Industrial Auctions organizes auctions for renowned companies like Vion, Klaas Puul, FrieslandCampina, COOP, Refresco, Nestlé, but also for smaller, regional companies. So not only for buying second-hand machinery you should contact Industrial Auctions but also if you want to sell your food and beverages machines.

Each month, a broad number of auctions is organized throughout Europe. All kinds of industries within the food and beverage industry are covered and the offer is very diverse. The offer consists of, for example, slicers, cutters, mixers, packaging machines, vacuum fillers, clippers, tumblers, ovens, multihead weighers, depositors, and freezers. These machines are from well known brands such as Bizerba, Baader, Seydelmann, Rational, Mado, Webomatic, Fessmann, Baader, Multivac, Safeline, and Handtmann.

One of the upcoming auctions is the online auction in Sassnitz (DE). On this auction many lines for fish processing from Euro-Baltic Fischverarbeitungs GmbH are offered for sale. The offer consists of multiple combinations such as a weighing and sorting system, an infeed and weighing line, a roe washing line, a drying-, weighing-, and packing line for roe, a filling installation for pallet boxes, a batching and thermoforming line, and more. The entire offer of this auction and all other auctions that are coming up can be found on www.Industrial-Auctions.com.

Selling your surplus machinery? Industrial Auctions knows how to handle it.

Industrial Auctions is an international operating online auctioneer specialized in auctioning machinery and inventory for the food and beverage industry. Over the past 12.5 years, the company has become a well-known brand for many and they are still working hard to grow their brand awareness. They have the platform to bring both the buyers and sellers together. The company works on a weekly basis with renowned companies such as FrieslandCampina, Gordon Brothers and, for example, Vion. In addition, the company organises auctions on behalf of traders where auctions are held on their own premises, as well as with companies that contribute a small number of machines to their recurring auctions. Whether you have a few surplus machines, a production line or an entire factory, Industrial Auctions knows how to handle it!

Unlike others, Industrial Auctions focuses specifically on the niche market of the food and beverage industry. This means the company has in-depth knowledge of the machines being auctioned. They have an extensive global customer base, of which they actually know who is participating in the auction. Personal contact is paramount at Industrial Auctions. A fair offer for a ditto purchase and the company offers that with an optimal return.

The project leaders of Industrial Auctions ensure that the auctions are inventoried in a considerable amount of time, the customer’s questions are answered, every interested party is received during the viewing day, the auction is conducted successfully and after-care is also provided. Once an auction is over, the lots are collected as early as a week after the closing, and transport or dismantling can even be arranged. The finishing touch? Even the auction location is delivered broom clean. Both the selling and buying customers are provided with every convenience and support wherever possible.

With social benefits in mind, auctioning and buying used machinery is obviously the sustainable option. A win-win situation in which the seller gets rid of its surplus machines and the buyer can, for example, accelerate their production process by replacing outdated machinery or expand its business activities. After all, a used machine can provide years of service, especially if the year of construction is still fairly recent.

Are you convinced and ready to sell your surplus machines or can we help with your questions? Send an email or contact us by phone to discuss the possibilities.

MORE CORROSION RESISTANCE MEANS MORE UPTIME FOR NLB PUMPS

Performance is critical for high-pressure water jet pumps.  That’s especially true in aquaculture, where the ship-board equipment that cleans fish farm nets is under constant assault from salt spray and corrosion.  Fortunately, aquaculture pumps from NLB Corp. are specifically designed to resist this corrosion, and the company’s new AQ3250 units have added features that keep them working reliably in the harshest conditions.

Like NLB’s widely-used Series 205 and 405 units, the AQ3250 is a triplex plunger pump with a slow-running design that minimizes the wear on plungers and other components.  Plungers are typically made of stainless steel with specialized coatings for durability and corrosion resistance, but those in the AQ3250 are ceramic.  Ceramics virtually eliminate corrosion, because corrosion requires oxidation and the chemical bonds in ceramic are already oxidized.

Another ceramic benefit is hardness.  The AQ3250 plungers have a six-micron finish that helps keep their surface smooth and significantly reduces wear.  This extends the life of the packing, which accordingly needs less frequent replacement.

Having ceramic plungers does not reduce their performance.  The new ones work as efficiently as NLB’s stainless steel plungers while extending the intervals between maintenance.  The new AQ3250 ceramic plungers also feature sealed packing cartridges (with water-cooling) to keep water out of the plunger well.  And they reduce salt build-up on the subshafts, so the oil seals don’t need replacing as often, and oil is prevented from seeping out.

With flow of 400 liters per minute at a maximum pressure of 207 bar, the AQ3250 is ideal for net cleaning.  Its weight (2,905 kg) and footprint (2,565 mm by 1,525 mm by 1,730 mm) are relatively modest, minimizing the load on the ship’s deck.

Many components are made of stainless steel or galvanized — including the skid it is mounted on — and a removable aluminum enclosure protects the pump from the sea air and salt spray.  A powerful, seven-liter engine consumes fuel at the economical rate of 39 liters per hour.

NLB has added several other new features to the AQ3250 to further enhance its reliability.  A stabilizer at the suction manifold port keeps a steady supply of water available to the pump, and a discharge accumulator buffers the high-pressure water to assure a smooth flow through the hose to the head that cleans the nets.

The AQ3250 is easily integrated with many existing net cleaning head systems.  An optional hydraulic package is available for systems that provide high-pressure water to hydraulically-operated cleaning systems.

Recognizing that even the best pumps need periodic maintenance (and occasional service), NLB makes it as customer-friendly as possible.  First, they offer a kit with all the parts needed to rebuild the pump’s fluid cylinder, which is necessary after many hours of use.  With this kit on board, the maintenance can be performed without the ship returning to port and losing valuable time.

Should onshore service be needed, Scottish customers do not have far to go.  NLB provides spare parts, service and training for the AQ3250 and its other pumps at the company’s branch location in northern England.  This 2,000-square-meter facility in Darlington offers NLB pump units for sale or rent and hosts customer training sessions and water jet demonstrations for a range of applications.

NLB’s high-pressure water jet pumps have set the standard for reliability for over 50 years, and the AQ3250 — with its ceramic plungers and other features — continues that tradition.  More information about NLB pumps (for aquaculture and other uses) can be found at www.nlbcorp.com.

Specialist Air Products & Solutions for the Aquaculture Industry

Onshore and offshore Aquaculture applications depend on a reliable, quality supply of compressed air and low-pressure air for a variety of equipment, systems and processes. Short downtime of critical equipment that causes an interruption to the air supply can lead to major issues and potentially mass stock mortalities.

A range of reliable KAESER air products are specifically designed and built to provide maximum durability in Aquaculture environments and ensure optimum process reliability to minimise the risk of downtime. Kerr Compressor Engineers is the sole Scottish Authorised Distributor of KAESER HPC air products and an established and experienced supplier to the Scottish Aquaculture community.

The impressive energy efficiency of our air products and systems helps to keep the largest part of total system costs to a minimum, whilst the low maintenance requirement reduces costs even further.

KAESER Rotary screw compressors deliver a reliable and efficient supply of quality compressed air. They are the preferred choice for users requiring constant pressure over prolonged periods. In Aquaculture applications they are preferably used to supply PSA oxygen generators with compressed air, to form bubble curtains against algae or jellyfish incursion, or to create artificial upwelling in order to lift cool water from deeper layers up to the surface.

Compressed air whenever you need it, wherever you need it – even under the toughest offshore conditions: specially designed and modified powerful MOBILAIR Portable Compressors with advanced, fuel efficient engines and heavy-duty construction are available in a wide range of models and configurations. Many models feature a roto-moulded PE enclosure to ensure extreme dent resistance for the harshest offshore conditions. Simple and intuitive operation and optimal maintenance point accessibility prevents unnecessary downtime.

Low-maintenance, highly reliable KAESER Rotary Blowers deliver pressurised air quietly and efficiently for multiple Aquaculture applications. These include the pneumatic conveying of bulk loads, for onboard wastewater treatment, bubble curtains and in anti-heeling systems.

Refrigerant Air Dryers and Compressed Air Filtration ensure dry, clean, quality compressed to ISO Standards by removing potentially harmful contaminants from the supply and combating the enemies of compressed air applications- water, oil and dust. Dryers, filters and specialist air treatment equipment provide effective, reliable protection against condensate damage or contaminants affecting your systems, processes and product quality. In addition, air receivers store and maintain large volumes of compressed air at pressure.
